One thing many people look forward to during awards night like the Oscars, aside from the winners, is the stars’ wardrobe. This year, we see lots of red carpet dresses that can be worn as wedding dress as well. Here are my favorites:
Jenna Dewan-Tatum
This nude Reem Acra gown worn by Jenna Dewan is aisle-ready. I mean no need for alteration for it to look appropriate as wedding gown. While a white version of this gown would be perfect, the nude one is equally lovely.
Lupita Nyong’o
This Prada gown worn by Lupita Nyong’o is simply gorgeous. It looks soft and comfortable, perfect for one of the most special days of your life. The plunging neckline, however, must go in favor of something more modest.
Cate Blanchett
This stunner Armani Prive gown complete with sequins and Swarovski crystals may be a bit loud but we cannot hide the fact that it looks feminine and delicate yet artistic.
Sandra Bullock
A wedding gown doesn’t need to be elaborate to look elegant. This Alexander McQueen worn by Sandra Bullock is just like that.
Bette Midler
Imagine this Reem Acra dress in white! Isn’t it perfect? It may look matronly to some but when you got the size that fits like a glove, you will definitely stand out, like every bride should be
Anna Kendrick
The red and black combination doesn’t really look good here but I think the white version would be perfect and the red petals in the waist area should be ditched and changed to white.The gown is by J. Mendel
